About the event
Hey, Chicks! Our very first activity together will be a hike THIS Saturday (11/8) at Old Speck (one of Maine's 4,000-footers). This hike is a moderate/difficult hike, and will take approximately 5-5.5 hours to complete the 6.8-mile out-and-back (with 2,877 feet of elevation gain). Don't worry, we will take our time; this certainly won't be a trail run. If this activity doesn't fit into your schedule, or if you're looking for a different kind of intensity, fret not! We will be hosting a more "chill" activity next week. Due to the weather looking like we may have some slight sprinkles (and hopefully snow on top of the mountain!), please refer to the packing list below. Crampons are required for this hike. If you do not have access to crampons, but are still interested in attending, email me! The leader for this trip is Hannah K!
